This week's Utica Gem shines bright at JFK Middle School, congratulations to 8th grader Joshua Wilk!
Known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning, Joshua truly embodies what it means to be a Raider. He approaches everything he does, in the classroom and on the soccer field, with dedication and heart.
Last year, Joshua earned numerous awards including Student of the Month, the Citizenship Award in Math and Highest Achievement Awards in Math, Social Studies and Science. He also earned a spot on both the High Honor Roll and Principal's List. This year, he continues to excel as a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
Outside of the classroom, Joshua is part of the Anti-Bullying Club at JFK and plays club soccer. He also received the Perfect Attendance Award which is a testament to his commitment and reliability.
Joshua’s teachers describe him as respectful, supportive and a role model for his peers. We’re proud to celebrate his achievements and look forward to all the great things ahead!
