Këshilltarët shkollorë të UCSD punojnë së bashku për t'i shërbyer të gjithë popullatës studentore dhe janë në dispozicion për t'ju mbështetur dhe për të ndarë informacione të vlefshme për të siguruar një karrierë akademike pozitive dhe të suksesshme. Është misioni i Programit të Këshillimit të Shkollës UCSD që të gjithë studentët të zhvillojnë kompetenca në lidhje me gatishmërinë për kolegj dhe karrierë, aftësi akademike, ndërgjegjësim për shëndetin mendor dhe zhvillimin social-emocional.
