Albany Elementary students recently participated in their first bus drill of the school year, giving students an opportunity to practice important bus safety procedures.
Students reviewed what to expect when riding the bus and practiced safely exiting the bus during the drill. Staff and transportation personnel helped guide students through the process, reinforcing the importance of listening to directions, staying calm and following safety rules.
The drill provided a great opportunity for students to become familiar with bus safety routines as they settle into the new school year.
