In early February, General Herkimer students brought the classic story The Three Little Pigs to life through a series of hands-on learning activities. After reading the story together, students used popsicle sticks and Play-Doh to design and build their own mini houses, cages and tents inspired by the pigs’ homes in the story. This activity encouraged teamwork and imaginative thinking while reinforcing literacy skills and story comprehension. Students also colored worksheets to extend the lesson and showcase their creativity.
